Pavilion Residences, Bukit Bintang - Various types for Sale/ Rent

About this listing

This luxury condominium is situated on top of the Pavilion Mall Bukit Bintang Kuala Lumpur, the best shopping mall in the City nestled amongst other high end shopping malls like Starhill, Farenhite and Lot 10.

The space

Please note that we only offer this accommodation on a minimum of 7 nights rental. Lesser periods are on request only. This is our private residence and is only available when are not around. We spent a fortune furnishing the apartment, and we hope that guests can take good care of the apartment do rung their stay.

This 2000 sq ft apartment is our private holiday home in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and is furnished to the highest standard just like its our own apartment in London.

Living Room:

The grey L shaped leather sofa and arm chair are imported from Milan, Italy. We also have a huge 84 inch 3D cinema screen TV complete with the home theatre kit and Apple TV. For TV we have ASTRO SATELLITE TV (which is not really great to be honest, but you don't come to KL to watch TV).

The Bedrooms
There are 3 main bedrooms, but guests will only have access to the two guests bedrooms as the master bedroom will be locked (its my private space)
We probably have the most comfortable beds on AirBnB. The mattresses are the best memory foam on the market today, and we use the finest Egyptian cotton sheets and proper duvet to ensure the best nights sleep.Of course, the bedrooms have their own central aircon unit as well as a ceiling fan.

Bathroom:
Each bedroom comes with en-suite facilities (showers) and there is also a guest powder room for the guests.

Cooking facilities:
Typical of any modern Malaysian apartment, there is what they call the "dry" kitchen - with the island unit and a sink off the living room. And there is also a "wet" kitchen round the back complete with a stove and oven etc.
There is also a utility section with a washing machine and tumble dryer and we also have a dishwasher there too.

Guest access

The building as a gym and a huge 40 meter swimming pool that is often empty during the day. There is a tennis court and there is a sauna and jacuzzi too facilities too on the 7th floor recreational area.
Interaction with guests

You will probably not see me (as I will be in London), but you will meet my brother or parents who will be there to show you the apartment. Otherwise I am just a phone call away.
The neighborhood

Din’s home is located in Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The Residences is the best apartment unit in Kuala Lumpur at the moment. The idea of living on top of a shopping mall may appear odd for some - its is by far the most convenient way to live in the City. Cafes, pubs and restaurants are literally a lift ride away, you could not be more central when it comes to staying in KL.

Analysis

As known by the local folks in Bukit Bintang, the piece of 12.6 acre land, in which now bear Pavilion Mall KL and Pavilion Residences, used to be the Bukit Bintang Girl's School facing the existing Starhill Gallery. How appropriate it seems, girl's school facing shopping centres. Proudly part of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Pavilion Residences is a prestigious convenience with all the private access to Bond Street style retail and dining experiences. Bukit Bintang will always be Bukit Bintang. The crammed concrete jungles has somewhat become a trademark of the Kuala Lumpur. Analogous to its location, this darling residence is no doubt the shining star in Bukit Bintang.

The gross development value of Pavilion Residences is about RM860 million, with more than 40% of 205 units in Tower 2 sold. Majority of the buyers and investors are foreigners and was said that this condominium will be attracting more than 40% of foreigners from Middle East, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Britain compare to the normal 10% to 15%. When Pavilion Residences was still in construction, it was said that its concept is somewhat similar to K Residence; except it being part of Pavilion KL that was expected to be fully operational and just across the most happening part of town, unlike K Residence that was built above the extremely quiet Avenue K.

The residential parking entrance and zone at Pavilion Residences are exclusive and separated from the parking for the hotels and shopping mall. Each unit is expected to have 2 to 3 parking spaces according to the unit size. However the luxury condominium, seem to be lacking some exquisite features that any 6-star condominium should have, one of it is the private lift. Traveling around this area without having to go through the massive traffic jam is quite convenient with the trains (Monorail, LRT) and taxis. If you still want to travel by car, there is not a problem, providing you don't get out of the house during peak hours.

Pavilion Residences is proved to be a good investment, especially for those who deal directly with the developer. The launch price ranged from RM800 up to RM1,000 psf, quite a steal in this area most definitely. As Tower 2 is opened for sale, the other block may not be placed up for sale, as there are parties considering on buying it entirely. However, this has not been confirmed as late. The layouts and design for this residential are somewhat mysteriously interesting. Among the few penthouse duplexes, there is one particularly huge mansion penthouse with more than 17,000 sf in size and cost a whooping RM15 million plus even after discount, and yes, it has been taken. Early birds enjoyed a 10% discount, about an average of RM900 psf only.
